A. Configuration Requirements and Other Information
1) The pole length must be 29 meters
2) Bolt hole diameter must be 22 mm
3) The embedded depth must be 4 meters
4) Tip diameter must be 200 mm and butt diameter must not be greater than 760 mm

B. Strengths Requirements
1) Ultimate tip load of 4,500 kg at 0.6 m from the top

C. Application Requirements
1) Type of steel must be Grade 350 MPa (ASTM A572) or higher
2) Pole must be Hot Dip Galvanized (ASTM A123)
3) Section connections must be slip-on type
4) Climbing device is removable type

D. Information to be given by the manufacturer
1) Pole frame drawing and length
2) Provide the diameter at the top, at ground line, and at bottom, plus the pole taper.
3) Provide the following general information:

a) Weight of each pole
b) Location of point of fixity
c) Type of steel (ASTM number and Yield)
d) Pole cross sectional shape
e) Connection details (slip)

4) Provide the following calculations at ground line and point of fixity
a) Moment
b) Shear
c) Axial load
d) Cross sectional Area

5) Provide the wall thickness at the pole top, ground line, and bottom.
